Tonight the splendor of film world would be in full bloom

Would Vijay Mallya be able to match the glamour that Neeta Ambani would be able to muster for the first semi-final match at Mumbai of the IPL in the third season? Indeed it is going to be an electric atmosphere as the tickets have already been sold out and it is going to be a battle royale between Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. It indeed would be a big battle, as apart from the keen tussle on the field, there would also be tussle in the spectators’ stand as well.

Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone may find themselves out of sync today as while whole bunch of their colleagues would be pitching for Mumbai Indians, while they being brand ambassadors for Royal Challengers Bangalore would have to cheer for their team. Both these ladies would find that they are in a minority. One thing is for sure, it would be the star power at its best on display in the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

The star power would more be studded with quotient of glamour. It would be interesting to watch whether Aamir Khan be gracing the occasion today? He is one of the best pals of the captain of Mumbai Indians Sachin Tendulkar and would like to be on the ground to cheer his friend. However, the flip point is, that Aamir does not go to the public functions or public gatherings per se. Would he break the rule today?

It is also going to be a match where a master batsman in the form of Sachin Tendulkar would be up against one of the best leg spinners in the world Anil Kumble. Besides, it would also be interesting to watch the manner in which Sachin would deal with Dale Styne, who has emerged as one of the meanest bowlers of the tournament.

Coming after the controversy that has been generated in the present IPL, it would be interesting to watch who are the biggies of the IPL management authority that would be attending the match, as it would provide sufficient manner in which the wind is blowing in the BCCI.

It is also in sync that the first match of the semi-finals is not being played at the Brabourne Stadium but is at DY Patil stadium, which is one of the finest grounds in the market, and players may not think twice before to dive on the ground. First semi-final is indeed going to be a match between experience, exuberance and chutzpah.
