Inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals on Saturday retained all-rounder Abhishek Raut and pacer Aditya Dole and signed up paceman Samad Falah for the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League.
All the three players have represented Maharashtra in the domestic circuit.
Fallah will make his IPL debut if he gets into the final XI in the Twenty20 tournament, beginning April 8.
“Abhishek and Aditya have impressed in the previous editions and are established Royals, whilst Samad Fallah has been attracting our attention with his performances in the domestic season,” Sean Morris, CEO, Rajasthan Royals said in a press release.
“We are delighted to announce the signings of these players and we look forward to all three players showing the fans their talents when they sport the Rajasthan Royals colours in the IPL,” he added.
Aditya Dole is a right-arm medium-pacer who has played first-class matches for Maharashtra. His first Ranji Trophy game was against Rajasthan in December 2007 but his career highlight came the following year, when he took 10 for 63 in an innings for Maharashtra in a CK Nayudu Trophy match against Rajasthan.
Raut made his first class debut against Tamil Nadu in 2005. His claim to fame was when he steered Rajasthan Royals to a victory over Deccan Chargers when he scored a match winning unbeaten 36 from 23 balls.
Fallah is a left arm medium pacer who features in Maharashtras first class squad.
Samad began his successful innings in professional cricket in 2005 with Poona Club. His first class debut was against Himachal Pradesh in Dharamsala in 2007.
He has taken over 100 wickets in 24 first class matches with a strike rate of 28.05 and best figures of 8 for 98.
