“I am going to be associated with the Indian Premier League soon and hope to walk into the field with Sachin again,” Kambli, who was here to select youngsters for Haryana Cricket League, told reporters.

Kambli, who has played 17 Tests, also insisted that he was solely concentrating on cricket and was not involving into any other activity like reality shows.

The left-hand batsman said that five young cricketers from Uttar Pradesh have been selected for the HCL.

These youngsters would get a chance to showcase their talents when teams from eight states would compete for the Champions Cup next month, Kambli said.

Kambli said that Union Sports Ministry should formulate and implement the policies to spot sporting talents in the country.

“Talents from rural areas should be brought forward. Without talents we cannot expect medals,” he said.
